Jorge Patricio Sasmay Román (unknown – 17 January 2016), known as Patricio Sasmay, was a Chilean professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for clubs in Chile and El Salvador.
Career
[edit]In his homeland, Sasmay played for Unión Española[1] and Magallanes in the top division.[2][3]
He after developed his career in the Salvadoran football,[4] playing for clubs such as Club Deportivo UCA,[5] Excélsior, Atlético Marte and Águila.[6] [7]
Personal life
[edit]His parents were Jorge Sasmay Vera[8] and Sylvia Iris Román Rojas.[9]
Sasmay was of Diaguita descent.[10]
He died on 17 January 2016[5] in Antiguo Cuscatlán, El Salvador.[11]
