Pardilhó is a village and a civil parish of the municipality of Estarreja, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 4,176,[1] in an area of 15.7 km2.[2] Pardilhó, is historically shaped by its proximity to the Ria de Aveiro, fostering a strong connection to maritime and agricultural industries. Notably, its shipyards produced the iconic Moliceiro boats, used for harvesting moliço (seaweed) and transporting goods like salt, which played a crucial role in the local economy and commercial traffic between Aveiro and neighboring communities.[3]
