Parasutterella secunda is a Gram-negative, nonsaccharolytic, strictly anaerobic, non-spore-forming, nonmotile bacterium of the genus Parasutterella in the family Sutterellaceae, isolated from human faeces.[3] Colonies of Parasutterella secunda are translucent to beige colored.[4]
