Parastrongylus schmidti is a species of parasitic nematode in the genus Parastrongylus. It was first described as Angiostrongylus schmidti in 1971 from the marsh rice rat (Oryzomys palustris) in Florida,[1] but later assigned to Parastrongylus.[2]
