Paolo Boi is an Italian semi-amateur[1] midstakes[2] poker player most known for finishing first in the $3,000 Midstakes Major (Bracelet Event #60) at the World Series of Poker 2024 gaining the biggest share of the $4,733,910 prizepool within a score for $676,990.[1]

In April 2023, Boi finished 7th in a side-event at the European Poker Tour €2,200 No Limit Hold'em - FPS High Roller (Event 15).[3]

Boi's playing style is a testament of the more aggressive all-ins from the short stacks in the modern game with a big blind ante with Boi pushing all-in while shortstacked with hands like 9 6; and J 8; while at a stack depth of around 5BB;[4] and A 3 while holding around 10BB.[5]

As of August 2024, Boi's total live tournament winnings exceeds $850,000.[2]
