Palgeocheon

Palgeocheon (Korean: 팔거천) is a stream that originates in Chilgok County, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, and flows to the Kumho River at Paldal-dong. The middle highway and the fifth national highway pass along Palgeocheon valleys.

Etymology

The origin of the name Palgeocheon is that the old name of Chilgok-gun had been Palgeo-hyeon.
