Pahoroides aucklandica is a species of Physoglenidae spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]
Taxonomy
[edit]This species was described in 2011 by Mike Fitzgerald and Phil Sirvid from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Te Papa Museum under registration number AS.002324.[2]
Description
[edit]The male is recorded at 3.31mm in length whereas the female is 2.28mm.[1]
Distribution
[edit]This species is only known from Auckland, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
[edit]Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Naturally Uncommon".[3]
