[edit]Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Swami Prasad Maurya won in last Assembly election of 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Elections defeating Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Javed Iqbal by a margin of 40,552 votes.[2]
