Ovni is a 2016 Dominican science fiction comedy film written and directed by Raúl Marchand Sánchez.[2] Starring Tony Pascual and Christian Álvarez.[3]
Synopsis
[edit]"Uno" is a humanoid who arrives at night in the mountainous region of El Cibao, and runs into "Cosmo", a former pilot of the Dominican Air Force, who thinks that "Uno" is his first cousin, whom he has not seen in many years. From then on, a series of events begin to take place, in which a humanoid woman, a dog, a cook and even the Dominican Air Force will be involved.[4]

Production
[edit]Principal photography lasted five weeks in Jarabacoa and Constanza.[7]
Release
[edit]Ovni had its world premiere on October 20, 2016, at the Puerto Rico Horror Fest.[8] Its commercial premiere was planned for June 1, 2017 in Dominican theaters,[9] but it was brought forward to May 18, 2017.[10]
