Ota's mountain lizard (Cristidorsa otai) is a species of lizard in the family Agamidae. The species is native to Southern Asia.[2]
Etymology
[edit]The specific name, otai, is in honor of Japanese herpetologist Hidetoshi Ota (born 1959).[1][3]
Geographic range
[edit]C. otai is endemic to Mizoram state in northeastern India.[4]
Description
[edit]Adult males of C. otai are 46.4 mm (1.83 in) snout-to-vent length (SVL). Females are larger, at 52.2–58.7 mm (2.06–2.31 in) SVL.[5]
