Nitidula flavomaculata is a species of sap-feeding beetle in the family Nitidulidae.[1][2][3] It is native to the Mediterranean Region and naturalized in North America.[4] It is associated with later stages of decay in mammalian corpses.[4] [5] It can be used in forensic investigations.[5]
