Nisaran Abbasi is an Azad Kashmir politician, who is a member of Pakistan Muslim League (N).[1] She was elected to the 10th Assembly of Azad Kashmir on 25 July 2021, taking, unopposed, one of the five seats reserved for women.[2][3] She has the named role of Advisor to the Prime Minister.[4] She was nominated for the role of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, but was not successful.[5] While Abbasi received 15 votes, her opponent received 32.[6]
