Nguyễn Văn Nên (born 14 July 1957) is a Vietnamese politician and the current secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, since 2020.[1][2][3][4] He previously served as Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Office in from February 2016.[5][6][7] Prior to this, he was Minister-Chairman of the Government Office and Chairman of the Tay Ninh People's Committee.[2]

Nguyễn's administration faced criticism for its response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City.[4]
