National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited of Malawi

The National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF),[1] formerly[2][3] Malawi Enterprise Development Fund (MEDF)[4][5] is a Malawian government owned Microfinance Institution with intention to economically empower people[6] in rural and urban areas,[7] (particularly women, girls and people with disabilities), by providing quality, affordable and sustainable microfinance services for better health.[8] In May 2021, NEEF gave K5.56 billion in cash to various women and youths groups.[9] The institution is located in Lilongwe, Malawi.[6]
