The Nammi 01 is a subcompact electric hatchback produced since January 2024 by Dongfeng Nammi, a division of Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Corporation.

Overview

Initially unveiled at a dedicated event in August 2023,[3] Dongfeng revealed the Nammi 01 at Auto Guangzhou on November 17, 2023, and simultaneously began pre-sale of the car to customers.[4] It officially began rolling off the production line on January 6, 2024, as the first model under the newly created Nammi EV brand with a price range of 74,800 to 104,800 RMB.[5]

The Nammi 01 is available in two different lithium iron phosphate battery packs; one with a capacity of 31.45 kWh and range of 330 km (210 mi) and another with a capacity of 42.3 kWh and range of 430 km (270 mi), both of which are powered by a front-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous motor which has an output of 70 kW (94 hp) and 160 N⋅m (120 lb⋅ft) of torque.[5]

Sales in Europe

Dongfeng BOX is the official name of the model for the European market. In the summer of 2024, presentations of the electric car were held in four European countries: June 11 - in Spain, June 27 - in the Netherlands, July 11 - in Belarus, August 14 - in Switzerland. The lowest price for BOX in Europe is set in Belarus.
