Muttenz railway station (German: Bahnhof Muttenz) is a railway station in the municipality of Muttenz, in the Swiss canton of Basel-Landschaft. It is an intermediate stop on the Bözberg and Hauenstein lines. East the station is the northwestern portal of the Adler Tunnel , which bypasses two stations and provides a direct route to Liestal.[1]
Services
[edit]As of the December 2020 timetable change,[update] the following services stop at Muttenz:[5][6]
- Basel trinational S-Bahn:
- S1: half-hourly service between Basel SBB and Stein-Säckingen and hourly service from Stein-Säckingen to Frick or Laufenburg.
- S3: half-hourly service between Olten and Laufen and hourly service from Laufen to Porrentruy.
