Muscat is a Canadian short drama film, written and directed by Philippe Grenier and released in 2023. The film stars Ilyes Tarmasti as Samir, a teenager working as a fisherman in a village in Morocco who dreams of escaping to a more fulfilling life, who discovers his attraction to men when he meets foreign tourist Louis (Alexandre Bergeron).
Tarmasti received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Performance in a Live Action Short Drama at the 12th Canadian Screen Awards in 2024.[1]
