Mr. Rossi Looks for Happiness (Italian: Il signor Rossi cerca la felicità) is a 1976 traditionally animated Italian feature film directed by Bruno Bozzetto. It is the first feature film of Mr. Rossi.
Plot
[edit]Nothing is going right for Mr. Rossi. A nutty, bumbling fairy comes to his "rescue", and gives him a magic whistle. By blowing it, Mr. Rossi and his dog Harold can travel through time. However, they are unable to escape trouble as they meet fire-breathing dragons, hungry Roman lions, scalp-happy Indians, and Robin Hood's deadly arrows. Eventually Mr. Rossi finds happiness at his home, in the present.
Distribution
[edit]The movie was distributed in Europe and had great success, especially in West Germany in 1976 and in Spain in 1983.[citation needed]
