Most Beautiful Campus Queen, established in 2019, is a Nigerian Inter-campus beauty pageant founded by Divine Future Johnson aimed at promoting creativity, individuality and resilience among undergraduates and recent graduates.[1]

The winner of Most beautiful campus queen automatically represents Nigeria at Miss Teen Globe international pageant in Paraguay[2]

The pageant has produced some notable figures, some of which include Guinness world record holder Ololade Ayelabola

The Current titleholder is Favour Atoe from Federal University, Otuoke  [3]

Competition

The pageant is open to contestants from various tertiary institutions in Nigeria for both students and fresh graduates, the top 50 contestants are selected through an audition. Furthermore, public voting determines the final 30 contestants that will proceed to the grand finale.

As at 2024, the winner gets a cash prize of 2 million naira and gains rights represent Nigeria at Miss Teen Globe International Pageant in Paraguay[4]

History

The maiden edition of Most Beautiful Campus Queen was launched in 2019 by Divine Future Johnson, and Akingbade Victoria from Olabisi Onabanjo University emerged as the maiden winner of the pageant. MBCQ is now an annual event.[5]

In 2022, the pageant acquired an international franchise, granting them rights to produce representatives for Miss Teen Globe International Pageant.[6]

In 2024, Ololade Ayelabola who was Most beautiful campus queen 2021, broke 41-year-old Guinness world record for the longest catwalk (130.62 km)[7][8]
