Mortoza Polash also known as Polash is a Bangladeshi writer, singer, actor, and entrepreneur.[1][2][3][4] In 2012, he won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the film Khodar Pore Ma.[5]

Biography

In the 1990s, Mortoza Polash formed a band called Orbit. His first solo album released was Prem Adree. He has released 38 solo albums. In addition, he also lends his voice to film songs. He has lent his voice to more than 1500 film songs.[6]

Polash's album Phol Khey Lovebese was released in 2002. This album had a song titled "Ma Tumi Aamr Age Jeyo Nako More". This song was later used in the film titled Khodar Pore Ma.[7] He won the National Film Award for Best Male Vocalist in 2012 for this song.[8]
