Mohammad Abdul Munim

Mohammad Abdul Munim is a former Minister of Finance of Bangladesh.

Career

Munim retired from Bangladesh Army as a Major General.[1] In 1983, he joined the government of Hussain Mohammad Ershad as the Minister of Public Works (Bangladesh).[2][3] He was a close confidant of General Hussain Mohammad Ershad.[2]

Munim was the Minister of Finance under President Hussain Mohammad Ershad and Prime Minister Moudud Ahmed from May 1988 to September 1988.[4][5]

In 1990, Munim was the Minister of Health and Family Planning.[6] From May 1990 to December 1990, he again served as the Minister of Finance.[5]
