Ready for implementation?
[edit]Hello! Is this ready for implementation or is more testing needed? –Daybeers (talk) 01:26, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- It's already used on dozens of pages (and, via the rail color box transclusion, on hundreds more). I would believe it's ready for wider use. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 02:04, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- I'll cut over {{Bts}} then! –Daybeers (talk) 02:09, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- Should be fine. I've been working down in the Philly area, so to speak, hadn't had time to get back up here. Mackensen (talk) 02:33, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

@Daybeers: I think it sets a very bad precedent to have fake line entries as you've done with St. Paul Street and a couple other stations. It means we're passing bad data through the various templates. "B" and "C" aren't lines; they're branches of the Green line and defined that way elsewhere in the template. There's no guarantee that this hack will continue to work with future versions of the main Adjacent stations module. Mackensen (talk) 19:20, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- Ya know, reading this, I agree. I'll work on switching them back. –Daybeers (talk) 21:01, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Can we have better documentation?
[edit]I got here trying to work out why the over-capitalization in edits like this one couldn't be simply fixed. I could go in and downcase things in your data module, but I have no idea what I might break in the process. Is there any documentation about how this is supposed to work, or is it just off limits except to the inmates who created it? Dicklyon (talk) 04:53, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- I think this module, and {{Adjacent stations}} in general, is pretty well documented. The given stations have specific aliases. The introduction of specific capitalized station name variants for bus stations isn't a pattern I'm familiar with, so I'll defer to Pi on that one since he added them. Mackensen (talk) 11:18, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- So maybe you're saying that he's put station names in to be used as bus stop names, and that we don't need to follow our usual MOS:CAPS style for those? Pi, is there any discussion about this, or are you just using this station format table as a way to support more capitalization than WP style calls for? Dicklyon (talk) 16:25, 14 July 2020 (UTC)

There is no reason why the headers need to be in ALL CAPS. In fact it makes the template worse in terms of appearance. Please restore the lowercase headings. 192.196.218.210 (talk) 00:43, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- All caps is presumably to match the station signs, which use all caps too. ◢ Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 07:34, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose, per MBTA signage format. Cards84664 08:45, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
