Min Bahadur Gurung

Min Bahadur Gurung is a Nepalese entrepreneur who is the chairman and managing director of the Bhat Bhateni Supermarket chain, which employs around 4,500 staff.[1][2]

Career

Gurung's career began with a small retail outlet, which has since expanded into a nationwide chain with multiple locations. He has created employment opportunities and provided a wide range of products to consumers across the country.[3]

Gurung holds a master's degree in Economics. He is married to Sabitri Ghale Gurung.[4]

In June 2023, Gurung was arrested in connection with the Lalita Niwas land grab scam.[5]

In September 2024, he donated over NRs 110 million to the flood and landslide victim in Nepal.[6]
