In the fall of 2002, a concerned group of parents gathered together to explore the need for a Christ-centered Christian school that would serve the entire Calhoun County area. As a result of much prayer, seeking God's help and His direction, and many hours of hard work, Calhoun Christian School opened its doors on September 3, 2003.
