Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens

Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens are nonprofit gardens in Greenbank, Washington, a settlement on Whidbey Island in the United States. The private garden sits on a 53-acre (21 ha) site and has been operated by the Seattle Rhododendron Society since 1979; it was originally built by Ann and Max Meerkerk in the early 1960s. The facility has 10 acres (4.0 ha) of display gardens that include thousands of rhododendrons and an additional 43 acres (17 ha) of woodlands with hiking trails.[1][2]
