MediaWiki talk:Previousdiff
Appearance
Older or previous
[edit]Should the previous diff say "previous edit" instead of "Older edit"? Anyway, this page is called "Previousdiff" anyway. This is a suggestion. -- Andy W. (talk/contrb.) 02:10, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- Nah, it's more understandable this way. Abeg92contribs 23:20, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- It should say "older". And MediaWiki:Nextdiff should be "newer". That's how it is in the source, and it's better because it's unambiguous. "Previous" could be understood as both "newer" and "older". Think, for example, of people who examine versions one by one—they could go both forward and backward. "Older" has only one meaning. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 10:07, 30 October 2017 (UTC)
