- The purpose of this page is to set the title of the box of links to an article in other languages. If you look at an article like Spain you will see a box with a lot of language names headed "In other languages".
- If the text on this page changed to "Jimbo is God" then the box of links to other languages would be headed "Jimbo is God". See m:Help:MediaWiki namespace for more about the MediaWiki namespace. Thryduulf 22:15, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
From bugzilla:
Please change the string "languages" on the left-hand side navigation bar to "this page in other languages" to make it clearer what the links do.

- So can we please change the message to something like "This topic in other languages"? When I was a new Wikipedia reader, I was wondering why such interlanguage links didn't exist - until someone told me that they do. I had mistaken the "Language" links for links to the Main Page of each language's Wikipedia. The message should say clearly where these links go. Set theorist (talk) 21:04, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Regarding above comment, please simply delete this message. Standard default text is "In other languages". – Adrignola talk 03:52, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
- We've used the text "Languages" for years. We do so because simple English isn't another language. —David Levy 04:02, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
- "In other languages" is more clear to readers, though it is not applicable to Simple English, since readers can easily aware of Simple English as exceptional case, than to aware of what does "Languages" mean. --Ans (talk) 10:03, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
