This accesskey clashes with MediaWiki:Accesskey-mainpage so that there are two (equal) accesskeys for the main page. Btw, I'd suggest deleting both this message and MediaWiki:Accesskey-mainpage so that the MediaWiki default is used, in case of future changes. Currently blanking this page and leaving MediaWiki:Accesskey-mainpage intact would do the same, but I'd still say there's a point in leaving it up to the MediaWiki default. I think it may actually be MediaWiki:Accesskey-p-logo that this clashes with. MediaWiki:Accesskey-mainpage is not used anymore as far as I know. There might actually be a bug in MediaWiki that relates to this, since MediaWiki:Accesskey-n-mainpage is a default message but is not used at all, while this page is not a default message (but should be since my changes to the sidebar a year ago ended up in MediaWiki). I'll have to play around with this in my local copy of MediaWiki to see what is going on. — RockMFR 01:11, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here's what I've got so far:

bugzilla:17184 is about the accesskey clash. So, we probably should delete this page. Need to do a bit more investigation first.
The Modern skin doesn't have the logo accesskey, so if we get rid of this page (I think we'd need to replace it with "-"), Modern users will lose their main page accesskey entirely. I think the fix for bug 17184 was wrong. In fact, I don't get what the original problem was at all - the logo didn't even have an accesskey before that revision. — RockMFR 01:46, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
MediaWiki:Tooltip-p-logo and MediaWiki:Tooltip-n-mainpage were the same as the defaults, so they've been deleted (note that the latter isn't actually used).
MediaWiki:Accesskey-mainpage isn't used anymore - deleted.
MediaWiki:Accesskey-n-mainpage-description and MediaWiki:Tooltip-n-mainpage-description don't have any default value set by MediaWiki but should ("" and "Visit the main page", respectively) - this is a pretty obvious bug. — RockMFR 01:32, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, obviously it wasn't as simple as I thought.
