Maya Ruby Hahn (born 7 February 2001) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder for 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam. Born in New Zealand, she is a Germany youth international.[1][2]
Early life
[edit]Hann grew up speaking German.[3] She was born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand.[4][5]
Education
[edit]Hahn attended the University of Oregon in the United States.[6]
Youth career
[edit]Hahn joined the Ole Academy at the age of eight.[7] In 2014, Hahn trained with the youth academy of German side FC Bayern Munich.[8]
Senior club career
[edit]In 2022, Hahn signed for German top flight side 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, where she suffered relegation to the German second tier.[9]
International career
[edit]Hahn was awarded Best Player at the 2017 Oceania Under-16 Championship.[10] She helped the New Zealand women's national under-17 football team achieve third place at the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.[11][12]
Style of play
[edit]Hahn has been described as a "ball-playing midfielder".[13]
Personal life
