Mawshynrut is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Meghalaya state in India.[2] It is part of West Khasi Hills district and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. It was created after the passing of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies, 2008[3] and had its first election in 2013. As of 2023, it is represented by Methodius Dkhar of the Hill State People's Democratic Party.
