[edit]This train is named after the Maveli, an alias of the ruler Kerala in the mythology of Mahabali. The train runs via the coastal railway route of Alleppey ( Alappuzha ) .
The train 16604 Maveli Express Daily leaves Thiruvananthapuram Central at 07:25 PM in the night and arrives at Mangaluru Central at 08:00 AM the next day morning , and 16603 Maveli Express Daily leaves Mangaluru Central at 05:30 PM in the evening and arrives at Thiruvananthapuram Central at 06:00 AM the next day morning .
