Master Sompal Verma

Master Sompal Verma or Sompal (born in 1 July 1951) in Tikola Kalan village is an retired teacher and current politician representing the Narsan Block of District Haridwar, Uttarakhand.[1][2]

Career
[edit]Sompal Verma was a retired lecturer in Chaudhary Bharat Singh D.A.V Inter College, Jhabrera.[3][4] He was also a politician who won the BDC Block Chief election in 1995 from Narsan Block, and after Haridwar district was separated from Saharanpur[5], He again contested the BDC election in the year 2000 and became the Block Chief for the second time.[6] After this, he contested the Mangalore Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election in 2002 as Independent candidate named Sompal.[7][8]
