Maryam Issaka Kriese is the running mate to Nana Kwame Bediako of The New Force for the election 2024. She is also a lecturer at the University of Professional Studies in Accra.[1][2][3]
Education
[edit]She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Ghana. Kriese holds a PhD in finance, an MBA, and advanced certifications in Islamic Finance and ERP software.[4][5]
Career
[edit]She has lectured at the University of Ghana Business School and the University of Professional Studies[6] and has held the position of Senior Manager at the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) prior to the announcement as the running mate. She is also an advocate for women's rights.[7][8]
Political career
[edit]On October 5, 2024, the New Force's flagbearer, Nana Kwame Bediako, announced Maryam Issaka Kriese as his running mate for the 2024 general election at an event in Kumasi.[9][10][11]
