Mary Fatima Khan-Hohloch (née Khan, born 25 June 1994) is a German politician for the AfD.[1] She has been a member of the European Parliament, taking office on 16 July 2024.[2]

Life

Khan-Hohloch was born in Frankfurt to a Pakistani father and a white German mother.[3] Her father, Zahid Khan, emigrated from Lahore, Pakistan, to Germany in 1989.[4][3] Her German mother was a supporter of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).

Since 2019, she has been married to Dennis Hohloch, a politician also associated with the AfD, who has been classified as far-right extremist. Together, they have a daughter.[5]

Between 2019 and 2023, Khan-Hohloch pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and Public Law. From 2020 to 2024, she worked as a freelancer in the media sector.[6]
