Mary Bolton (addiction counsellor)

Mary Bolton (born 16 September 1920, County Donegal, died 11 July 1996, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh) was an Irish counsellor and (non-clinical) psychotherapist.[1][2] A recovered alcoholic, (treated by Max Glatt),[1] Bolton founded the Rutland Centre for addiction treatment in 1978,[3] and co-founded the Irish branch of Narcotics Anonymous in 1983.[1][4]
