Marc Rocco (June 19, 1962 – May 1, 2009) was an American film director, film producer and screenwriter.[1]
Marc Rocco was born Marc Daniel King in North Hollywood Los Angeles, to Harvey King and Sandra Elaine Garrett. Later divorcing King, Garrett married actor Alex Rocco in 1964, who adopted Marc.[2]
Career
[edit]Marc Rocco directed several films including Scenes from the Goldmine,[3] Dream a Little Dream,[4] Where the Day Takes You, and Murder in the First.[5]
Death
[edit]On May 1, 2009, Marc Rocco died during his sleep in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley.[6] Rocco was 46, widowing his wife, Lisa. His body was found by a friend at a home where Rocco had been house sitting. Cause of Rocco's death was not quickly revealed by Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, but no signs of trauma or crime were reported.[7]
