Manorhamilton railway station served the town of Manorhamilton in Ireland for 76 years from the line's opening to its closure.
Background
[edit]Manorhamilton railway station was the engineering headquarters of the Sligo Leitrim Company, and their workshops were located there. It was the principal passing place on the Sligo Leitrim and closed on the 30 September 1957 due to road competition along with the rest of the company. [1][page needed][2][page needed]
