Malawi women's national football team results
This article lists the results and fixtures for the Malawi women's national football team.[1]
Nicknamed the "Scorchers" the team represents Malawi in women's association football. its governed by the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) and it competes as a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The national team's first international activity was in 2002 when they participated in the inaugural 2002 COSAFA Women's Championship in Zimbabwe. the Malawian first game was a 0–8 loss to Zambia. the team currently (as of 25 August 2023) ranks 158th in the FIFA Women's World Ranking.[2][3]
The team's largest win was against Seychelles team with a score of 17–0. This win occurred in two matches on September 25 and 28, 2023, both hosted in Blantyre.[4]
