Mahura boara is a species of Agelenidae that is endemic to New Zealand.[1]

Taxonomy

This species was described in 1973 by Ray Forster and Cecil Wilton from male and female specimens.[1] The holotype is stored in Te Papa Museum under registration number AS.000012.[2]

Description

The male is recorded at 2.52mm in length whereas the female is 2.89mm. The cephalothorax and legs are pale reddish brown. The abdomen is creamy with grey shading.[1]

Distribution

This species is only known from Fiordland, New Zealand.[1]

Conservation status

Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened.[3]
