Mahesh Kisanrao Landge, colloquially as, Mahesh Dada (brother) (born 27 November 1975) is an Indian politician who is currently a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Bhosari Vidhan sabha constituency in the Pune district. He is Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and current city president of Bharatiya Janata Party of Pimpri-Chinchwad.[1]

Political career

Before entering into politics Landge was a well-known wrestler. He started his political journey with NSUI, student wing of Congress Party. He contested his first election for Corporator in 2002 but was defeated. Later he contested in a bypoll and become Corporator for first time in 2004. He was elected as corporator for three consecutive times in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation with Nationalist Congress Party.


After NCP denied him ticket for Bhosari Assembly Constituency in 2014, he rebelled and fought elections independently. He won the election and later joined Bhartiya Janata Party. He won from the Bhosari Assembly constituency for second time in 2019 as a BJP candidate. [2][3][4][5][6]
