The Macaúbas school shooting was a school shooting that occurred at Aloyiso Short State School (now CETEP) in Macaúbas , Bahia , Brazil , on 6 August 2001. 18-year-old Robério Souza de Oliveira shot six students and a teacher with a shotgun at a school in Macaúbas, after the shooting the perpetrator fled and committed suicide.[ 1]
