Love in the Big City (film)

Love in the Big City (Korean: 대도시의 사랑법) is an upcoming South Korean BL coming-of-age slice of life television series written by Sang Young Park [ko], co-directed by Hur Jin-ho, Hong Ji-young, Son Tae-gyeom and Kim Se-in, and starring Nam Yoon-soo. Based on the novel of the same name by Park, it depicts the life of a gay man who is HIV positive. It is scheduled to premiere on TVING on October 21, 2024.

Production

In October 2023, Love in the Big City which is based on the novel of the same name by Sang Young Park [ko] has began its production after casting Nam Yoon-su as the lead actor.[1] The series was directly written by the original author, writer Park, and four film directors namely Hur Jin-ho, Hong Ji-young, Son Tae-gyeom, and Kim Se-in took turns helmed the megaphone with Merrychristmas and Big Stone Studio co-produced it.[7]

Release

Love in the Big City was scheduled to be released on an OTT platform in the second half of 2024.[7] In August 2024, TVING confirmed that the series will premiere on its platform on October 21, 2024.[8]
