On November 12, 2024, at around 3 p.m., an explosion at a manufacturing facility for food coloring in Louisville, Kentucky killed two people and injured 12 workers.[1] Injured people, two of whom were in critical condition, were transported to University of Louisville Hospital and Baptist East Hospital.[1] The cause of the explosion was not immediately known.[2][3]
