Los Blázquez Offensive

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Los Blázquez Offensive took place during the Spanish Civil War in 1938. It was one of the last Republican offensives of the war and was launched on 9 January by three Republican divisions. Franco reinforced the town's defences and stabilised the situation by 23 January. The battle ended on 25 January with hundreds of men killed or taken prisoner from both sides but with little change in the position of the front lines.[1]
