Loghan Paylor

Loghan Paylor is a Canadian writer,[1] whose debut novel The Cure for Drowning was longlisted for the 2024 Giller Prize.[2]
Born and raised in Ontario, Paylor has a master's degree in creative writing from the University of British Columbia, and is currently based in Abbotsford, British Columbia.[3] They have also published short fiction and essays in literary magazines.[3]
The Cure for Drowning, a World War II-era historical fiction centred on a trans man who enters the Royal Canadian Air Force, was published in January 2024 by Penguin Random House Canada.[4]
