Livan Rural District (Persian: دهستان ليوان) is in Now Kandeh District of Bandar-e Gaz County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Livan-e Sharqi.[3]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 5,418 in 1,789 households.[4] There were 5,304 inhabitants in 1,682 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 4,854 in 1,650 households. The most populous of its five villages was Livan-e Sharqi, with 2,240 people.[2]
