Ralph Fiennes is an English actor of stage and screen who has received many awards and nominations over the course of his career.
He has been nominated for two Academy Awards for his performances in Steven Spielberg's Holocaust drama Schindler's List (1993) and Anthony Minghella's epic romantic drama The English Patient (1996). His work on television has also earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his performance in Bernard and Doris (2008). He has also received critical acclaim for his work on stage, winning a Tony Award in 1995 for Hamlet and earning a nomination in 2006 for Faith Healer. He has also been nominated for six British Academy Film Awards, six Golden Globe Awards and four Screen Actors Guild Awards.
