The following is a list of Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball head coaches. There have been 18 head coaches of the Golden Gophers in their 129-season history.[1]

Minnesota's current head coach is Ben Johnson. He was hired as the Golden Gophers' head coach in March 2021,[2] replacing Richard Pitino, who was fired after the 2020–21 season.[3]
