Leomansley is a ward and suburb[1] of Lichfield in the Lichfield District and the ceremonial county of Staffordshire, England. It is one of the six wards on Lichfield City Council and as of September 2024[update] was represented by Cllrs Andrew Rushton (Lib Dem), Ben Watkins (Lab), Ed Strain (Lab), Jacob Marshall (Lab), James Blackman (Lab) and Jamie Christie (Lib Dem).[2]
Geography
[edit]Leomansley is located to the west of Lichfield City Centre and is located near the Friary. It is mostly residential and is close to the A51 road.[3]
Amenities
[edit]The suburb is directly adjacent to the Western Bypass, Walsall Road, and The Friary. Four notable buildings in the area are the Bowling Green public house on the Friary roundabout.[4], the Grade II listed, Lichfield Clock Tower.[5] Festival Gardens, is a public park located near the Friary.[6] Also in the area, is the grade II* listed Christ Church.[7]
