Leina'ala Drummond

Leina'ala Ann Teruya Drummond (May 28, 1946 – September 18, 2023) was an American model and airline employee.[1] A native of Hawaii, she became Miss Hawaii 1964 and represented her state at the Miss America 1965 contest, placing in the top ten.[2]
A flight attendant for Hawaiian Airlines since age 18, in 1973, she had her face chosen to be part of that airline's logo, an honor that the airline has continued giving her.[3]
Personal life and death
[edit]The mother of two daughters named Kawika and Christina, she was married to John Robert Drummond for 24 years, until he died.
Drummond died of cancer on September 18, 2023, at the age of 77.[3]
